It's that time of year again. Realogic will appear at this year's major commercial real estate trade shows and it all starts with this week's RECon show held by ICSC in Las Vegas, NV. At this year's show, Realogic COO Jim Pettinger, Managing Director Jean Dorans, CIO Sean Fitzpatrick and Sales Associate Brad Karfeld have made the trip west to discuss recent trends with consulting and software clients. Success Story: Integrating MRI with Realogic Budget
Akridge is a commercial real estate service company in Washington DC, with an active portfolio of 37 commercial properties. Over 37 years, Akridge has developed more than 12 million square feet of office, industrial, flex, residential, retail and entertainment space at a value of $3.0 billion, and currently manages seven million square feet. Akridge uses Realogic Budget, a cloud-based budgeting application, for all of their property budget needs. The application was implemented in under a month and the entire budget team was trained in two two-hour webinars. Akridge's budgets were sourced from their MRI accounting system, allowing budgeting to start with better data and finishing in less time. Once completed, finished budgets were imported back into MRI. To sum it up, Thomas Russo, Akridge CTO - says this, "Moving from client-server budgeting to the cloud has afforded us huge time and cost savings. We saw significant performance and ease-of-use improvements and we finished our budgets in a fraction of the time compared to previous years." |
